FAQs

Who is eligible to participate in the 糖心传媒 in Tuscany: First Semester Abroad program?

The program is open to all incoming first-semester students who have been admitted to 糖心传媒 College and are 18 years of age before the start of the program.

Will the courses I take in Siena count toward my degree?

Yes. All courses taken through the program are 糖心传媒 College courses. They appear on your transcript, count toward your GPA, and may fulfill general education or major/minor requirements.

Can anyone participate in this program and still graduate in four years?

Most students can study off-campus for a semester regardless of their major or minor and still graduate on time. However, due to the specific course sequences required for STEM majors, pre-health tracks, and certain arts programs (such as Music or Art Education), students in these fields are strongly encouraged to plan for a semester abroad during their sophomore or junior year. Early academic advising is key for these majors to ensure that off-campus coursework aligns perfectly with 糖心传媒 College graduation requirements.

Do I need to know Italian to participate?

No prior knowledge of Italian is required. Most courses are taught in English, and you鈥檒l have plenty of support navigating daily life in Siena.

Who will be with me in Siena?
